The hotel was a great location, just near the train station, and in a nice area. The staff were always friendly, and always helped, no matter the time or request. The restaurant and bar were clean, always manned by attentive staff and the food/drinks were lovely, quick, and a good price. The room itself was perfect! Lots of room, comfortable, a great bed, and the showers were fantastic. It was a pleasure to come back here every night after a busy day, knowing how comfortable we would be. Thanks to all the staff who looked after us. When we return to Amsterdam this is where we will be staying and I will be recommending it to everyone.

This hotel is so beautiful. From the moment you see it in its traditional glory and then you enter into a modern luxurious hotel. It is wonderful and the rooms are beautiful, spacious and have everything you need on a short trip. The location is perfect, right beside the train station, with an outdoor shopping facility, just a stones throw away, and a short cheap train ride to Amsterdam Central. This is the ideal spot if you want to be in a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle.

I loved our stay at this hotel! The location is superb, just a quick train ride to Amsterdam Centraal station and within walking distance from Zaandam station. The room offered a beautiful view, and the overall atmosphere was peaceful and quiet—a perfect retreat after a day of exploration. The check-in and check-out process was breezy, and the facilities were clean. Additionally, the hotel's accessibility to Schiphol airport, just about 40 minutes away via train, adds to its convenience. Highly recommended!

5 mins walk from the station. Access to Zaandam with a short walk and Zaanse Schans by train. Easy to get to the city centre from train station. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. They have 24hr check-in after 2pm, so there was always someone at the front desk. They also stored my bags until 7pm after I checked out.

Lovely, modern rooms with comfortable beds. Zaandam is a nice and quiet town, out of the hustle and bustle and nowhere near as busy or crowded as Amsterdam! A supermarket, train station and the town centre is right opposite the Hotel. This is a great place to stay if you’re wanting to visit Amsterdam but don’t want to pay triple the price on accommodation for half the quality. Only 2 stops on the train to Amsterdam or Zaanse Schans and other neighbourhoods. Would highly recommend.

The room was clean and spacious. The location of the hotel was great for exploring as close to station - easy to get to central as well as airport. The staff were friendly and helpful. Bag drop facilities were really good. The hotel felt safe and secure.

it's my second stay at ZAAN,I love the location and the hotel it's absolutely stunning,it's always spotless and ZAANDAM is beautiful and quiet with plenty to do then its 10 minutes to the busy city centre so you get the best of both worlds. The staff are always very friendly (A special shout out to Alex the bartender - he was amazing!)and the price is always so reasonable for the standard of this hotel.

The room is very nice, from decorations and space. The hotel is modern and well serviced with 2 big elevators. The bed mattress was super super comfy. Staff are very helpful (if you ask them), and they will not approach you if you don't ask.

Literally just next to Zaandam station with an Albert Heijn supermarket opposite it, it's in a great location if you're looking to stay outside the city centre with a direct train to Centraal and to the airport. Lots to do in the area itself too. The twin room was spacious and clean and they provide toiletries and tea/coffee in the room. The hotel also has dining options and a small gym with free weights, chest machine, and treadmill. The staff were also very sweet and helpful.
